The state of Georgia does not fund music education in our state. The Bryan County Board of Education provides the funds in their budget for music teachers' salaries with little left for purchasing instruments, stands, music scores, etc.
We are lucky to have the support of Ms. Herndon, Principal RHMS, who finds a way to help where she can and is very supportive of our fundraising efforts.
