Cobblestone pictures

Below is information about purchasing the pictures that Cobblestone photography took of the Winds.

The photographs have been uploaded to view.  There are images of individuals as well as the group shot. 

The photographs may be accessed through www.cobblestonephotography.com   

Click on the Online Ordering/Viewing tab.

Click on Portraits.

You will see the image of the group.

Click on the group image.

Enter your email address.

The images will then appear on your screen.

The images will be available for viewing/ordering through Feb. 14th.

Payment may be made through PayPal or by check.  Checks should be made payable to Cobblestone Photography PO BOX 3043 Richmond Hill, GA 31324.  Payment must be received before an order is sent to the lab for printing.

GMEA ticket update

Parents,

 

I am just sending a message to all of you with the updated spreadsheet of ticket reservations for Jan 27.  Right now we only have 2 tickets left.  Please, if you know that you will not be able to attend, let me know so we can pass the ticket on to someone who may be waiting.  As of 7:17p.m. tonight no one is waiting for tickets.  That may change as we get closer to the 27th.  Thank you.

Current GMEA info

Parents,

 

Doc double checked the number of tickets he reserved and the new number is 80 and they are FREE.  Please contact me ASAP if you are interested in attending the concert on Jan 27.  The students are scheduled to be playing from 11:15 to 12 noon.  I believe Doc will be picking up the tickets when he registers at the Conference Center that morning (this is the one on Hutchison Island across the river from downtown Savannah).  You will be able to get your "ticket/wristband" from me outside the venue. 

 

Please arrive early to pick up your tickets.  11:15 may be an approximate time.  I know some of you were disappointed that you missed alot of the concert at the Seafood Festival because the concert started early.  Please pick up your tickets so you can be seated by 11.  I am also attending the concert and will not be there to pass out tickets after 11:10 or the band starts playing, which ever comes first.

 

I will continue to update you as more information becomes available.

GMEA tickets reserved

Parents,

Below is the most current list of tickets reserved for the GMEA concert.  According to Doc he reserved 60 tickets (they are actually wristbands).  If my count is correct we stand at 56 already reserved.  Please check your schedules.  If you have ordered multiple tickets that you are not going to use, please let me know so that I may redistribute them to someone else.  If you want tickets, please let me know ASAP and I will give you the first available.

Winds Practice Schedule: from 1/11 to 1/26

This message is from Dr. Warnock regarding the practice schedule for the Wildcat Winds for the next 2 weeks.  The GMEA concert is on Jan 27.  We will be selecting chaperones at the Booster meeting on Jan 13.  If you didn't order tickets and would like to come to the concert, please contact me at the meeting or via email because we did order some extras.

Important Booster/Parent Meeting: Jan 13 at 7pm

Next Thursday, Jan 13 at 7p.m. in the bandroom will be our January Booster meeting.  Following the general meeting, 2 officers from the High School Band Boosters will present information for the 8th graders and their parents regarding the band program there.  I highly encourage all of you who have students interested in band as freshman attend this meeting.  Feel free to bring your student.  Following their presentation we will meet with Wildcat Winds parents to discuss the upcoming GMEA trip on Jan 27 and the trip to Atlanta in April.  We have many decisions to make with regards to the Atlanta trip that will affect the cost of that trip for you.  Please, if you have not attended a meeting as of yet and especially if you have a student in 8th grade and/or Wildcat Winds, your presence at this meeting is particularly important.

 

I look forward to seeing you on the 13th.

All State Info 2

Parents,

First of all the date for the all state auditions this Saturday IS Jan 8 NOT Jan 10 as previously sent out.  Sorry for any confusion.

 

As far as dress for the auditions... please have your student wear the same type of outfit as they wore for the auditions in Dec.  Nice pants and shirt will be sufficient.  Please no jeans or tshirts.
